Aisling Bea
Aisling is a popular Irish comedian that has been in the business for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland, on 16th March 1984. Bea has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few parts in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. By 2012 she was regularly performing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for different panel shows, where she is now a regular. In 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, and also a part-time participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was the daughter of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. She is only the second ever female winner of So You Think You're Funny. Bea the name she was given as her maiden name, pays tribute to her dad who died in the year 2000. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is an Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. Born on in March 16, 1984. Bea's father Brian died when he was just three years old. He was an equine veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the particulars of his death before she reached the age of 13. She adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father. She published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea was fostered by her younger sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and a former professional racer. Her family were racing and horse-related. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that racing was not for her.
